Sir Ian Magee joined Booz & Company as a Senior Advisor in 2006. He was formerly Second Permanent Secretary and Chief Executive, operations, Department for Constitutional Affairs; and Head of Profession for Operational Delivery for the whole civil service, and held three other CEO roles. Sir Ian advises other public and private sector boards, and is an Executive Coach to senior civil servants and others. Ian was a member of the Capability Review team for the Cabinet Office and has a continuing role in assessing progress. He has a special interest in public sector leadership, is a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute, and has recently been appointed a Fellow of the Sunningdale Institute and a Senior Fellow of the Institute for Government.
