Gagan Bhatnagar is a Partner in Booz & Company’s London office, specialising in Financial Services. Gagan specialises in strategy and transformation programs in the Capital Markets industry and focuses on operations transformation and risk management. Gagan has 18 years of strategy and operations change experience and has worked with investment banks, asset management firms and custodian banks in Europe and the United States. Gagan's key areas of expertise include operational strategy and operating model restructuring, risk management transformation and transformation programme delivery.
Examples of Gagan's experience include: operating model restructuring to deliver accelerated growth and a significantly reduced cost base for a global capital markets firm; design and implementation of an enhanced risk management operating model for a global investment bank; and the development of an operating model for the launch of a new retail securities brokerage for a large European Securities Firm.
Gagan previously held a number of management positions at a major consultancy including head of their UK Risk Management practice, and spent 13 years in the Capital Markets practice of another major consultancy. Gagan has a B.Sc. (hons) degree from Loughborough University and is a graduate of Kellogg School of Management.
