Andrew is a Partner leading Booz & Company’s Financial Services practice in Greater China, based in Shanghai. He has over 20 years of management consulting experience in Asia and Europe and has worked in Asia since 1997, after first visiting China in 1981. Before joining Booz & Company, he worked with The Boston Consulting Group where he was based in Korea, Southeast Asia, the UK and Germany.
His recent assignments include strategy and capability building in business banking for a leading Chinese bank, defining the organization and governance for China’s sovereign wealth fund, and helping one of the world’s largest banks develop its Chinese rural banking strategy and business model. He also led Booz & Company’s research for clients on the impact of the global crisis on China.
He earned his MBA with Distinction at Harvard Business School, where he was a Kennedy Scholar. He earned his MA (Hons) in Economics (First Class) at the University of Cambridge and speaks Chinese.
