A Booz & Company partner, Richard Verity works out of the firm’s London office, where he specializes in supply chain management, purchasing, and corporate transformation services for the downstream energy and chemicals industries.

Leading one of the largest cross-border integrations in Europe, where two industrial gases companies were merged in just six months; the transaction delivered over 250 million Euros of synergy (fully in line with market expectations); he and his team were involved in the full spectrum of merger issues, from synergy calculation to organizational design to cultural alignment
Mr. Verity has authored or co-authored a number of studies and articles, including “No-Frills CRM,” which appeared in strategy+business.
A former freelance journalist in Britain and university lecturer in Turkey, Mr. Verity also worked for Shell Chemicals in Paris, where he was involved in production planning, logistics, and other services. He speaks French and Turkish.
Mr. Verity read English literature at the University of Colorado, where he earned an M.A. degree, and Cambridge University, where he received a B.A., and completed the London Business School Sloan Programme.
