Richard Rawlinson is a partner at Booz & Company’s London office, where he applies his expertise in senior leadership to serve a wide range of clients in consumer products, services, and telecommunications. He is well known for his insights in:
In 2005, Mr. Rawlinson and his team received Booz & Company’s prestigious Professional Excellence Award (PEA) for their innovative work on a project for Vodafone. A recognised thought leader, he has authored or co-authored many articles related to consumer marketing, leadership, and change management for the Harvard Business Review and strategy+business, including “Beyond Brand Management.”
Mr. Rawlinson has also served on the UK Competition Commission, the body which regulates mergers, competition issues, and utility regulatory appeals in the UK. He has contributed to industry investigations, regulatory appeals, and merger inquiries covering topics from postal meters, to electronic microscopes, to ice cream.
He began his professional career in financial services with Schroders, spent some time as an academic on the staff of Harvard Business School, and later joined Monitor Company to develop its international business. He spent seven years consulting throughout Asia and then in Europe and joined Booz & Company in 2004.
