Analysts
Typically, undergraduate degree hires enter at this level where they’ll take part in assignments to enhance basic consulting skills and acquire significant business exposure. Analysts are promoted to Consultants.

Consultants
Undergraduate degree hires with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience , or Graduates can enter at this level where they will be responsible for specific tasks in a project. This often includes research on specific topics , preparing parts of a client presentation, and conducting analytical work. Consultants are promoted to Senior Consultants.

Senior Consultants
Graduates with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, and Ph.D candidates are hired into this level where their role will be to provide support in strategy development, identify and resolve complex issues, and recommending approaches, and serve as an effective support resource to your teams. Senior Consultants are promoted to Associates.

Associates
Graduates from core MBA schools, and experienced Ph.D candidates typically join the firm at this level. Associates take ownership for a distinct work stream in the project. At this level, Associates are expected to construct the analytical framework of each assignment, assume an active role in preparing and conducting client presentations, and lead with limited guidance from their job managers. Associates are promoted to Senior Associates.

Senior Associates
Experienced consultants with Masters degrees from core MBA schools who demonstrate strong consulting capabilities are entered at this level frequently and referred to as “Job Managers”. At the Senior Associate level, responsibility will cover the management of the entire project. This includes development and presentation of the project content, manage the team day to day, and work with clients and manage the entire budget. Senior Associates are promoted to Principals.

Principals
Principals are responsible for the management of one very large or several medium size projects where in addition to their role as team leaders, they are responsible for managing client relationships and revenue generation from existing and new clients.

Partners
Referred to as Vice Presidents as well, they are “co-owners” of the firm and responsible for an entire market sector in addition to significant internal management responsibilities.
