Yuri Dobrynin is a Vice President leading Booz & Company’s Consumer and Retail Practice in Russia and CIS. He has almost 20 years of experience in strategy consulting and in top executive positions in major Russian and international companies. Since Yuri focuses on end-user consumer-driven industries, his expertise also features retail banking and insurance as well as exposure to B2C in telecom.
Yuri’s professional interests and expertise address the key high-value-added areas of the executive agendas – mergers and acquisitions, new product and market niches entries, organization design and management teams development, operational efficiency.
Before joining Booz & Company, Yuri was a Partner with A.T. Kearney, leading its consumer and retail operations in Eastern Europe. He also brings the extensive industry expertise from years spent in executive jobs with major Russian and global players in financial sector and in the food business such as Aviva, Seagram’s, Allied Domecq as well as major Russian companies.
Yuri has two Master of Sciences degrees – in Applied Mathematics and Finance – from the Russian universities. He also participated in the Programme for Executives’ Training by the Confederation of British Industry.
