Joe Sims, a Booz & Company Partner in the Dallas office, has over twenty five years of senior management, consulting and business development experience in software, systems integration; electronic commerce; telecommunications and Internet-related businesses. He focuses on helping his clients drive capabilities based strategic transformation in the evolving digital convergence of telecommunications, content and applications for the benefit of communications service providers, their enterprise clients and the digital ecosystem that serves those industries.

Joe is an industry-recognized leader in digital convergence; including telecommunications strategy, wireless broadband and Internet services and next generation applications and cloud based services. Joe has served numerous enterprise clients in healthcare, financial services, transportation, manufacturing, energy exploration and production, higher education, and federal, state and local government. Joe advises numerous private and venture investment organizations and sits on the boards of several privately companies.

Prior to joining Booz & Co., Joe served as Vice President and General Manager for T-Mobile USA. He led T-Mobile's Broadband and value-added services businesses including: T-Mobile HotSpot (WiFi), HotSpot@Home (VoIP) and Web2Go (3G broadband). He developed and drove unprecedented growth in T-Mobile’s mobile data, content, and applications services. Joe was also responsible for new business development, strategic partnerships and investments and led numerous key initiatives including the “Google Phone”/ "Android" business.

Previously, Joe served as Managing Director for Wireless Solutions at KPMG Consulting (BearingPoint). Joe began his career at Xerox after receiving his BBA in management and marketing from Baylor University.
