Curt Mueller is a Chicago-based Partner who co-leads Booz & Company’s supply chain services offering. He specializes in operations strategy and supply chain management – enabling improved performance and profits through tailored and flexible operations.
Since joining Booz & Company, Curt has served clients in multiple industries with a focus on consumer and industrials clients. Recent work includes: design of a new integrated and tailored supply chain for a major consumer packaged goods company; creation and implementation of a new go-to-market strategy and supply chain capabilities for a global consumer goods manufacturer; design of a manufacturing and distribution footprint and operating model for a major consumer industrials company; and identification, design, and detailing the integration of three consumer goods companies across supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement.
Curt has authored numerous publications, including “Make Manufacturing and Supply Chain a Winning Pair,” “Sales and Operations Planning -- Time for Refresh,” “Taking the Right Steps - Manufacturing Footprint Design as a Competitive Imperative,” “Adapting Your Network Footprint for Agility,” and “Designing The Factory Footprint For Competitive Advantage.”
Curt has over 15 years of consulting and industry experience in various operations, supply chain, and manufacturing management positions. Curt held management positions at DaimlerChrysler in its Advance Manufacturing Engineering group and held several management positions at Ingersoll-Dresser Pump Company in its Engineered, Power, Nuclear, and Special Projects group.
Curt holds an MBA with High Distinction from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
