Curt Bailey is a partner in Booz & Company’s Operations Practice, based in San Francisco, where he joined the firm in 1999. Curt co-leads the Hospital and Health Systems Practice in North America and has served a number of leading healthcare delivery and services clients. Curt’s work spans hospital chains, academic medical centers, health systems, retail and mail pharmacies, laboratory diagnostic companies, and health insurers. Curt has led multiple large-scale performance improvement programs.
Curt’s most recent assignments include an operational improvement program for expanding primary care access and costs in a network of community clinics, cost reduction for a large multi-state hospital chain, and pre-close integration planning for a merger of three health systems.
Prior to joining Booz & Company, Curt served for seven years as an officer and helicopter pilot in the United State Marine Corps. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University and a Masters in Business Administration from Yale University.
