Dr. Anil Kaul is a Booz & Company Partner based in Chicago. His areas of expertise are Improving Organizational Efficiency and Effectiveness through organizational design, performance measurement, process design, cost analysis, implementation of business process outsourcing/offshoring, and shared services.
He primarily focuses on the Health Payor space. Over the course of his career at Booz, Anil has worked across multiple industries and has led numerous initiatives in the Americas (North, Central and South) and Europe.
Some recent examples of Anil’s client engagements include:
- For two Regional Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance companies, built the business case for a merger (identifying over $1B in synergies) and supported the companies in integration planning and regulatory approvals
- For a leading Health and Welfare Benefits Administrator, helped build a growth strategy for its National Accounts business.
Anil has also led outsourcing/offshoring initiatives across the value chain for several payor and financial services clients.
Prior to joining Booz, Anil was a Research Staff Member at IBM Research. He has several patents and has authored several journal articles and viewpoints in his areas of interest. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
