George Sarraf is a partner with Booz & Company and a member of the firm’s Energy, Chemicals & Utilities practice. He has over 15 years of consulting experience and specializes in Utilities (electricity, water, and gas) across the value chain. His functional experience includes strategy, regulations, business development, organization restructuring, operations, and systems. George led the unbundling and restructuring of a major vertically integrated electricity company. He also led the development of a business model for the provisioning of electricity, water, wastewater, and district cooling services in a large scale greenfield Economic City. In addition, George worked closely with the client to restructure the largest district cooling company in the Middle East to improve profitability, earnings per share, and financing terms. He has also worked extensively in Libya to develop the strategy, organization and key processes for the power, water, and wastewater sectors.
George holds a Diploma in Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique in France, and a Diploma in Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in France.
