Job description:	The chair has been doing research on entrepreneurial mechanisms for creating and capturing new forms of value creation both in incumbent and emerging organizations. In this context, specific phenomena for innovating beyond firm-boundaries are investigated, such as cross-industry spill-overs, convergence, business model and ecosystem innovation. In order to gain more knowledge on organizational implications for incumbent firms, we are looking for a doctoral student to join our research team. The aim is to perform both basic and applied research and publish results in internationally accredited journals.
Required experience:	Interest in and willingness to conduct research with quantitative as well as qualitative methods. A firm knowledge of quantitative methodology is an asset, hence graduates in the areas of management science, psychology, economics, or engineering may bring ideal skills. Curious as to emerging trends in management science. Previous experience with innovation and entrepreneurship is an advantage, but not a requirement. Fluent writing and conversation skills in English and German are required, an international working experience comes as an advantage.
