Minoo Javanmardian is a Chicago, Illinois-based Partner who works with Booz & Company's global healthcare clients. She focuses on strategy, strategy-based transformation, and innovation in healthcare services, including payers and providers as well as pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare companies.
 
Dr. Javanmardian’s key areas of expertise include:

• Payor Segment – Front office strategy, transformation, and innovation in a consumer driven/ retail environment
• Intersection of payor/ provider segments – Innovative care delivery model in a consumer driven environment
• Revenue side innovation – Including market back idea generation, product development and portfolio management within healthcare services.

Some of her most significant assignments have included:

• A joint research partnership between one payor and multiple providers in the state of Florida to design and implement an effective care delivery model in a consumer driven environment
• Multiple strategy and transformation projects in the payor sector, including corporate strategy, market map, retail strategy, customer for life and distribution strategies
• Led the Statewide Health Assessment Planning and Evaluation (SHAPE) project for the state of Rhode Island
• Led multiple business strategy projects in the pharmaceutical industry, including drug licensing strategies

A recognized thought leader, Dr. Javanmardian has contributed to numerous Booz & Company publications, including the strategy+business articles “Flipping the Switch: Big Pharma’s Biggest Challenge” and “Raising your Return on Innovation Investment.”

Before joining Booz & Company, Dr. Javanmardian worked as a Senior Research Engineer with BP-Amoco. She has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering/ Biochemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, UK.
