Based in Parsippany, New Jersey, Booz & Company Partner and CFO Doug Swenson is responsible for worldwide leadership of the finance function, which includes ensuring the appropriateness of the firm’s asset and risk management efforts and the fairness and consistency of Booz & Company's financial statements. He also provides strategic financial direction and recommendations to protect the firm’s future financial condition.
After joining Booz & Company in 1978, he has held various financial roles including director of internal audit, assistant treasurer, and corporate controller. Mr. Swenson has led the firm’s financial operations as CFO since 1999.
A Certified Public Accountant in the state of New Jersey, Mr. Swenson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New Jersey Society of CPAs, and is a board member of the Independent College Fund of New Jersey. He holds a B.S. degree in business administration from Villanova University.
