Thomas joined Booz & Company in 1999. He is based in the Dusseldorf office, where he is a member of the Energy, Chemcials and Utilities practice. He mainly supports power and gas clients on strategy-based transformations—from agenda setting to process and organisational design to implementation support.
Recent client work for the gas and power industry includes gas and LNG strategies, renewables portfolio strategies, as well as redesign of energy trading and sales units. On the functional side, he focuses on CFO agenda topics and operating model design of corporations. In this context, he recently advised a major global energy company on aligning its performance management approach, management reporting concepts, and infrastructure to a newly designed global operating model.
Before joining Booz & Company, Thomas was a banker. He received his diploma and his PhD in Business Administration from the University of Kiel.
