Andrew Clyde is a Partner in Booz & Company’s global energy practice where he leads the oil and gas team in North America. For over 15 years, he has consulted with CEO’s and senior executives on corporate and business unit strategies and large-scale global transformation programs. Within the petroleum sector, he concentrates on the downstream value chain (refining, logistics, supply and trading, marketing and retail) and works with clients to apply deep industry foresight into essential advantage through strategy development, organization design and capability building programs. He is an expert in sales and marketing strategies (pricing, customer segmentation, tailored business models, and salesforce effectiveness) and works with clients to build the capabilities needed to perform and win in a global, dynamic market.

In addition to his work with oil and gas clients, Andrew is active in both global and local community initiatives. He led a multi-year, global transformation program for a ~$2-billion revenue relief and development NGO and continues to support the client’s mission across the globe on a variety of critical engagements. Andrew also led a team of consultants and journalists from The Dallas Morning News on a ground breaking engagement that reviewed the City of Dallas through the lens of a business, comparing benchmarks to peer cities and assessing strategy, governance, leadership and accountability models that explained relative performance. The team’s report, entitled “Dallas At the Tipping Point: A Roadmap for Renewal”, was reported in a News special section where the News was a Finalist for the National Journalism Award in Public Service. Since the original report, significant changes have taken place in Dallas City government. Andrew continues to lead this local partnership with regular updates on the original work.

Institutionally, Andrew is the Managing Partner of the Dallas office and serves on the Firm’s Global Principal Committee. He previously served as the Chair of the North American Marketing Council.

Andrew received a Masters in Management with Distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University where he was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. He received a BBA with a major in accounting and minor in geology from Southern Methodist University where he was elected to the Beta Alpha Psi Honor Society. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
