Peter Weichsel is a Dusseldorf-based Partner with Booz & Company and is heading the Competence Center for Telecommunications Technology and Strategy. He supports CTO/CIOs especially in the communications and technology industry in operating in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven market. In addition, Mr. Weichsel is involved in establishing the Moscow office of Booz & Company, and he supports technology related projects worldwide.
Recent examples of Mr. Weichsel’s client assignments include:
- Defining the target architecture and roadmap for a leading global integrated operator
- Advising on liberalization of a national telecommunications market sector
- Sourcing and supply chain management for major telecommunications infrastructure investments
- New fixed and mobile operator launches
- Product portfolio optimization for leading telecommunications equipment vendor
- All-IP transformation of a large national fixed network incumbent
Earlier in his career, Mr. Weichsel worked as a consultant and has held management positions for a variety of fixed and mobile operators, and performed entrepreneurial activities in the telecommunications and high tech sectors.
Mr. Weichsel holds a MS from University of Technology Aachen.
