Peter Vayanos is a Partner who leads Booz & Company’s financial-services work in the Middle East. For instance, he has headed the transformation of one of the largest banks in the Middle East, crafted a feasibility study for a newly established specialized Islamic housing finance company in Saudi Arabia, developed a market entry strategy for a major international bank targeting offshore affluent customers, conducted a strategy review for a leading health insurer, and created a growth strategy for a major insurance company in a Gulf Cooperation Council country, among other projects.
Mr. Vayanos joined Booz & Company’s London office in 1996 and transferred to the Middle East in 2001. He was one of the contributing authors to the study IT in the Middle East—The CEO Agenda. Mr. Vayanos holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a bachelor of commerce honors degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
