Martin Reitenspiess is a Partner in Booz & Company’s Communications, Technology & Media practice and is based in the firm’s Munich office. He supports telecom operators and high tech clients across Europe. He joined Booz & Company in 1994 in the Düsseldorf office and relocated to Munich in 1997. During his career at Booz & Company, Mr. Reitenspiess has served a broad set of clients focused on the telecom and technology industry. He has also supported leading clients in other industries, including media, energy, and automotive manufacturing.
Mr. Reitenspiess specializes on strategy-based transformation and organizational development across industries, with a specific focus in marketing and technology.
During his tenure with the firm Mr. Reitenspiess has been responsible for a broad range of transformation programs, across Europe and the US including:
- Strategic transformation programs for European fixed-line and mobile operators
- Performance and efficiency improvement programs
- Several top-line push programs in mobile, fixed and integrated telecom operations
- Group growth strategy development also including war gaming and scenario planning techniques
- Deployment plans and strategies for next generation infrastructure (fiber, LTE)
- Cooperation models for infrastructure players
- Several post-merger integration programs
- Brand strategies
- Several programs for customer analytics and base optimization
A recognized thought leader, Mr. Reitenspiess leads Booz & Company intellectual capital task forces on hybrid Giga Networks and Customer Base Management. He has authored several viewpoints including “Fast Track to a European Digital Highway: Telecom Operators Embrace Hybrid Networks”, “LTE: Delivering the Future of Wireless” and “Leveraging Next Generation Networks”. He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences, universities, and fireside events.
Before joining Booz & Company Mr. Reitenspiess gained experience with various firms in Germany and the US. He holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Karlsruhe. Additional to his native German, Mr. Reitenspiess is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of Italian.
