José Antonio Tortosa is a Partner in Booz & Company’s Madrid office who is aligned to the Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) Team. José Antonio’s focus is on telecom in Latin America and Southern Europe.
José Antonio has more than 15 years in the strategic consulting industry, where he mostly worked with clients in the mobile and fixed Telecom, Media and the Telecom equipments industries. José Antonio specializes in the areas of business strategy, marketing and sales for fixed, mobile and convergent operators.
His recent client engagements include operational improvement and turnaround for mobile operators in Brazil, Peru, Algiers, and Spain; offer development and implementation for a mobile and fixed operator; diagnosis of bad debt management activities in a mobile operator in Peru; and review of the acquisition strategy in a mobile operator in Brazil.
Prior to joining Booz & Company, José Antonio was a Senior Partner at Oliver Wyman. José Antonio earned an MBA from IESE, and a BA in Business Administration from Complutense University.
