Hein van Beuningen is a partner in Booz & Company’s Amsterdam office aligned to the firm’s consumer and retail practice. His expertise areas include organizational change, strategy, and business development in consumer industries, restructuring and cost reduction programs, post-merger integration, and commercial due diligence.

He was the co-author, with Booz & Company partner Peter Mensing, of the “Future of the Netherlands” report, presented to the Dutch Prime Minister, which proposed a mission and strategy for the country in the wake of the economic crisis.
Hein serves on a number of supervisory and advisory boards of both profit and not-for-profit organizations in the Netherlands.
Hein joined Booz & Company in 1997 as a consultant. Previously he worked for Orient Overseas Container Lines in Hong Kong as a marketing officer. He left Booz & Company in 2000 to go to business school and returned to Booz in 2001 as an associate.
He earned his MBA from INSEAD and holds a graduate degree from Leiden University in Civil Law.
