Douwe Tideman is a Partner in Booz & Company's Energy, Chemicals and Utilities practice and is based in the Paris office. He returned to Booz & Company in June 2010, having left the firm 10 years ago, when he was a Partner based in our Melbourne office.
He is currently leading our work for a large upstream operating entity controlled by seven major oil and gas corporations. The purpose of the work is to improve the operating model of the development venture which is executing one of the biggest upstream capital projects taking place in the world today.
Douwe has over 20 years of extensive experience in the Upstream Energy sector in Europe, Middle East and Asia. He has worked in senior positions at Booz Allen Hamilton and Accenture, and held line positions in a major oil company as well as an upstream start-up. He has specialised in Strategy & Business Development, Performance Improvement and Business Transformation.
Douwe earned his MBA from INSEAD, France and his M.Sc. and B.Sc. (distinction), Offshore Engineering, from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
