Dieter J. Schneiderbauer is a Partner and managing director at the Munich office of Booz & Company. With more than 20 years of experience in consulting, he specializes in strategy, organization, and performance improvement for major transportation and logistics companies.
Over the past 15 years, Mr. Schneiderbauer has led numerous assignments supporting his clients in the rail, logistics, maritime and aviation industry with strategic repositioning, mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, and operational excellence initiatives.

A recognized expert in his field, Mr. Schneiderbauer has co-authored several Booz & Company studies, including "Managing Airport Construction Projects – Providing an Efficient Management Framework for Operators" and "Time for Take-Off: Setting New Strategic Directions for Mid-Sized European Airlines." He is a regular speaker on international conferences and author of point of views in major industry publications.
Before joining Booz & Company, Mr. Schneiderbauer was a member of the Central European management team and head of the European transportation practice at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman).
A graduate of Technical University in Munich, he holds master degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration.
