Thom Blischok is Chief Retail Strategist and a senior executive advisor with Booz & Company’s Retail practice in San Francisco. He has over thirty years of experience in the global retailing environment assisting clients in the design, development, and implementation of organizational, operational, and technology strategies and the capabilities needed to compete in their respective markets.
Prior to joining Booz & Company, Blischok spent 8 years at Symphony IRI Group as President of Retail as well as Global Strategy and Innovation. Prior to that, he served as Chairman & CEO of his own strategic technology consulting firm, MindMeld, a market-leading, shopper intelligence company whose client base included some of the leading U.S.-based retailers with global footprints, as well as a number of international retailer. Additionally, he was an Executive Vice President and Group Executive at Equifax , responsible for assisting retail and financial services client in creating and implementing loyalty strategies, after serving as Chairman & CEO of Knowledge Engineering Group, a privately held think tank. His career as a consultant took root at AT&T Global Information Systems, where he served as Vice President and Chief Consulting Officer, then at Coopers & Lybrand as Chairman of Global Retail and Distribution Consulting.
