Ashok is a Partner based in Chicago who joined Booz & Company’s Washington, DC office in 1998 as a Consultant. Ashok specializes in strategy-driven, cross-functional operating model and organizational transformation, with a particular focus on large multinationals in the manufacturing sector as they tackle the challenges and opportunities resulting from the “second age of globalization.” Past clients include several of the largest auto manufacturers, as well as industrials and CPG firms.
Examples of recent work include: the development of a strategy-back operating / business model for one of North America’s largest airports; a global operating model blueprint for a major automotive manufacturer integrating footprint, management model defining the role of the corporate core, business units and functions; organizational structure; and governance mechanisms; and a global operating model design for a major heavy manufacturing company.
Ashok has been published in strategy+business, the Economist Intelligence Unit, and l'Expansion, among others. He is a three-time recipient of the Professional Excellence Award. Prior to joining Booz, he spent three years at the World Bank.
Ashok received a BA in Economics from Macalester College.
