Based in Chicago, Arvind Kaushal is a Partner in Booz & Company’s Operations Strategy practice. Arvind leads the North American manufacturing team. He has more than eleven years of management consulting experience in USA, Europe, Middle East, Mexico, and India.
Arvind helps clients in developing manufacturing and product strategy, growth strategy and assessing competitive costs across the value chain. Arvind focuses on Auto Tier I suppliers and industrial companies. Recently, he helped a leading battery company set up a high tech battery manufacturing plant and develop future value chain strategy. He is currently working with a major Fortune 500 company to develop a growth strategy for emerging markets. Arvind has published a number of articles on manufacturing including "7 Ways Forward" and "Manufacturing Urgency: A Memo to the Chief Operating Officer."
Arvind received his MBA (Gold medalist) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta. At IIM Calcutta, Arvind was the recipient of a merit scholarship and is named on the Institute's Honor Roll. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, where he graduated with First Class Honors. Prior to doing his MBA, Arvind worked with IBM (formerly TISL) in India.
