  • Redesigned the organization and management and solutions processes for a global utilities supplier based in Europe
  • Designed a post-merger structuring for a healthcare organization, including implementation of a “center-less” corporation based on shared service/call centers
  • Implemented change management services for a major government modernization program for the U.K.’s Department of Works and Pensions
  • Implemented a large-scale modernization program for the Internal Revenue Service

Author of numerous articles, studies, and essays on transformational program and change management, Dr. Tipping’s publications include “Surviving in an Environment of Change,” “The Customer Centric Organization,” and “Ten Guiding Principles of Change Management.” He has also co-authored articles for strategy+business magazine, including “Growth Champions,” “Making the Perfect Marketer,” and “Six Types of Marketing Organizations: Where Do You Fit In?

His prior professional experience includes serving as senior consultant at ERA Technology in England, where he managed product development teams. Before that, he managed telecommunications and computing projects funded by the U.K.’s Department of Trade and Industry.

Dr. Tipping holds a PhD and B.Sc. from Reading University, and an MBA from the London School of Business.
