Andreas Späne is an IT Partner in the Frankfurt office of Booz & Company, with key focus on companies in the Telecommunications, High Tech and Renewables sectors.
Andreas specializes in strategic restructuring / transformation and efficiency improvement programmes (such as PMI situations), as well as in development and implementation management of complex IT strategies and large scale IT migrations (e.g. billing or ERP systems).
Andreas' recent client work includes:
- Leading the Post Merger Integration (PMI) of two mobile telecommunications companies in Europe, including design & implementation management of new organization, operating model and systems architecture (focused on billing/CRM & ERP)
- Managing the turn-around of a global renewables energy technology provider from vision and strategy development for all functions to turn-around execution (including international ERP transformation)
- Setting up a Shared IT Operations Unit for a global mobile telecommunications company including strategy and business case development as well as migration management of six data centers into one
Prior to joining the firm in 2001, Andreas worked as a Systems Manager with Procter & Gamble. Andreas holds a masters in business administration and industrial engineering with main subjects Computer Science/Operations Research from the University of Karlsruhe.
Andreas has two children, age seven and two. His passions, in addition to spending time with his wife and children, include running, tennis and skiing.
