Three recent books by Booz & Company authors have been named in prominent best sellers lists.
The Wall Street Journal’s weekly list of best-selling books in the U.S. recently included two Booz & Company-authored books in the business category. Always On: Advertising, Marketing and Media in an Era of Consumer Control, by Partner Christopher Vollmer, ranked number three on list for the week ending July 25, 2008 and Make or Break: How Manufacturers Can Leap from Decline to Revitalization, by Partners Kaj Grichnik and Conrad Winkler, was ranked #13 for the week ending August 22.
The books are both part of the “Future of Business” series published by McGraw-Hill and strategy+business. (www.businessfuture.com)
The Wall Street Journal’s list reflects nationwide sales of hardcover books at more than 2,500 Books-a-Million, Borders, and Waldenbooks stores, as well as sales from online retailers Amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com and figures from 800-CEO-READ.
In addition, the Washington Post named Megacommunities: How Business, Government and Civil Society Leaders Can Master This Century’s Global Challenges Together, by Fernando Napolitano of Booz & Company and Booz Allen Hamilton’s Mark Gerencser, Reginald Van Lee, and Christopher Kelly, as the number seven bestselling hardcover nonfiction book in the Washington, DC area the week ending August 31.
