Booz & Company to Honor CMOs

Booz & Company will host the third “CMO of the year” award on September 24, 2008 in Frankfurt, Germany.


The strategic marketer of today combines a broad skill mix: managing the entire portfolio of a company’s brand, engaging all functions of the organization, managing its product and service portfolio, and developing innovative pricing strategies, while leveraging a broad business perspective, cross-industry experience, and deep analytical skills.

To emphasize the importance of the marketing function in business and to honor those marketers who have done an outstanding job in the marketing arena, Booz & Company is hosting its third pan-European “CMO of the Year” award.

The participants are nominated by third parties only. The selections are made by a panel of judges composed of international CEOs and marketing experts from renowned organizations and companies, marketing and business media, and Booz & Company. The judges use a four-step evaluation process to select the winners.

The 2008 CMO of the Year awards will be announced and celebrated on September 24, 2008 in Frankfurt, Germany.
