Booz & Company CEO Shumeet Banerji has been named by Consulting Magazine as one of the “Top 25 Consultants” for 2008.

This year’s Top 25 Consultants, featured in the magazine’s June issue, includes professionals from 23 firms, the most ever represented in the annual competition. Those selected were nominated by colleagues and clients, and represent what Consulting Editor-in-Chief Joseph Kornik calls “the breadth of the management consulting world.”

Banerji’s inclusion in the annual listing is accompanied by a cover article about the launch of Booz & Company, “Building a New Booz: Shumeet Banerji is the CEO of Booz & Company, a New Global Firm Poised for Commercial Success.”

“It’s a huge privilege, and I’m incredibly honored,” Banerji tells the magazine of his new role as Booz & Company CEO. “We’re going through a transformational experience and into a brave new world.
