IT Consumerization: What IT Managers and Employees Really Want

The phrase “consumerization of IT” may be overused, but the trend is real. We recently conducted a study of both IT managers and corporate employees to ascertain the current state of the trend and to better understand where concerns remain. The results are surprising: IT managers see considerable benefits from consumerization, and the two groups are in close agreement on critical issues such as the private use of company devices, the kinds of devices preferred, and the kinds of apps and services employees should be able to use. read more >
