I began my professional career as a merchant banker, spent some time as an academic on the staff of Harvard Business School, and later joined Monitor Company to develop its international business. I spent seven years consulting throughout Asia and joined Booz & Company in 2004.
Favorite Project:
A major project which required figuring out how consumers around the world are responding to food health and wellness concerns, and how our client could adapt its business, which led to acquisitions and innovations in Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
Why Booz & Company:
We work for all sorts of clients, both in the commercial and public sector, across an amazing range of issues. That requires a very varied group of people, with different strengths and characteristics, and what I like best is the diversity of people that we have.
Beyond Booz & Company:
I love the mountains, both in the winter and summer. I used to ski every weekend when I worked in Milan; now I take the family skiing in the winter and in the summer to hike and climb everywhere from the Alps to Canada and Asia.
