Favorite Project:
Many of my projects are related, so I will say my favorite accomplishment has been helping to mold the telecom industry in the Middle East. I have worked on a multitude of projects with policymakers, regulators, and telecom operators in the region. Corporate growth, sector growth, expansion into other countries, privatization, consolidation, new operating models, new capabilities—if it’s a telecom effort, I have worked on it! Each project meant diving into a different challenge, but all had one exciting thing in common: they led to major developments that shaped the evolution of the telecom industry in the Middle East.

I pursue many interests outside work: cooking and salsa dancing with my kids, Taymour and Taj. Traveling to exotic islands with my wife, Ghada. Collecting art deco furniture and contemporary paintings and sculptures. Learning history from the elderly people of my village in the south.
