Chairman Joe Saddi, CEO Shumeet Banerji, and a group of Booz & Company partners—including Neil McArthur, David Knott, Klaus-Peter Gushurst and Jürgen Ringbeck—attended the 40th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, January 27-31, 2010.
The theme of this year's meeting was "Improve the State of the World: Rethink, Redesign, Rebuild." In addition to previously scheduled sessions on these topics, President Bill Clinton sponsored a series of panels on the crisis in Haiti, to further accelerate support from business and political leaders
CEO Banerji participated in an interactive panel, "Rethinking Compensation Models" on January 27 that examined how executive compensation systems should be redesigned in the wake of the Great Recession.
Saddi and Banjeri also spoke with executives and leaders about Booz & Company and strategy+business latest publications, including "A Better Way to Fix Bankers' Pay" and Cut Costs and Grow Stronger, as well as several papers that have been released in conjunction with the firm's Davos events.
