Alumni Connections and Calendar of Events
We value our alumni and encourage past employees to stay in touch with Booz & Company, as well as each other. We catch up at social functions to see what former colleagues have achieved with the skills they learned whilst within the firm.
We also produce an alumni newsletter for Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia titled ‘Alumni Connections’. Recent editions of the newsletter can be viewed by clicking the following links. To improve efficiency and timeliness, we are transitioning our communications from hard copy to electronic formats. Events
We hold events annually in Sydney and Melbourne, and hope to extend this to Canberra in 2009. This is a great way to see what former colleagues have achieved, and get together to catch up on everyone's news. The Melbourne event is confirmed for Thursday 13 August, and the date for Canberra will be posted shortly on this site.
The Sydney office held its annual Alumni event on 18 June 2009 in its offices overlooking Circular Quay and the magnificent Opera House. Peter Burns, Director, opened up the welcome speeches with Managing Partner, Tim Jackson, stepping in to provide an overview of the business and the past 12 months. Soon enough, everyone was into the important part of the evening…tasting the fabulous wines, chatting and enjoying the relaxing tones of a classical guitar and cello duo.
The evening was a great success and enabled old and new alumni to mix with former colleagues and friends, and judging by the stayers, everyone enjoyed the evening! Thank you to all those who supported the evening, and for those who were unable to attend this year’s event, we look forward to catching up with you next year!
