With more than 15 years of consulting experience, Peter is a Partner with Booz & Company based in Sydney. He leads the firm's service operations business in the region focusing on supporting financial services and civil government clients to improve their operational efficiency and effectiveness. He also works with clients to develop capabilities, particularly in new channel innovation.
Peter has worked with governments and corporations worldwide to outline broad transformational agendas in service-intensive industries, including financial services, telecommunications, retail energy and civil government agencies spanning health, immigration, customs and defence. As one example, a major retail bank asked Booz & Company to assist in transforming their business banking division.
Peter and his team:
- Defined market segments and advantaged propositions
- Refocused the sales force on delivering a broad product array
- Aligned operations and servicing capabilities into scaled expert centres
In another example, a multi-national insurer engaged Booz & Company to support a large-scale transformation of their origination and operations capability.
The team:
- Led the design of capabilities targeted at re-engineering and implementing workflow across core processes
- Articulated a fundamentally new operating model share capabilities across lines of business
As a leader within the business Peter also heads Booz & Company community services program in the region, which channels the firm's expertise into pro bono consulting assistance for not-for-profit organizations and runs an extensive staff service program. He also sits on the firm’s Principal Development Committee.
Peter holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from Bond University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business, where he graduated with High Distinction as a Baker Scholar.
